PPN News | The Professional Association of Businesses (PAOB) awarded the Chesapeake Sister Cities (CSC) organization with the 2013 PAOB Community Service Award. CSC is a member of the PAOB and was the recipient of the 2013 PAOB Community Service Award for their initiatives to build greater communities through establishing lasting partnerships both locally and abroad. CSC is a part of Sister Cities International that was founded by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1956. Sister Cities International is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, nonpartisan serving as the national membership organization for individual sister cities, counties, and states across the United States. This network unites tens of thousands of citizen diplomats and volunteers in programs in 140 countries on six continents. Sister Cities International advances peace and prosperity through
cultural, educational, humanitarian, and economic development exchanges.
It serves as a hub for institutional knowledge and best practices in
the field of citizen diplomacy.

Event Coverage | The 2013 Dancing with the Chesapeake Sister Cities Stars is an
annual event to support the growth of the Chesapeake Sister Cities (CSC) organization.
CSC works to build international relations for greater communities globally and
stronger business development. Proceeds from the event went to Montero MedicalMissions for continued development of medical missions. CSC, a member of the Professional
Association of Businesses (PAOB) was also the recipient of the 2013 PAOB
Community Service Award for their initiatives to build greater communities
through establishing lasting partnerships both locally and abroad. This event
