Virginia Beach Minority Business Council launched, "Removing the Barriers - Closing the Gap," an expo for small, minority and women business owners.

Small Business Development | PPN Event Recap - On November 7, 2013, the Virginia Beach Minority Business Council held its 15th Annual Conference and Expo at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. The theme for this year’s expo, "Removing the Barriers - Closing the Gap," was geared at identifying obstacles that may limit the success of small, minority and women business owners. The expo offered small businesses and those owned by women, minorities and service-disabled individuals the opportunity to promote their services to procurement officials from across the state.
